When I try to run NVIDIA Visual Profiler I get this error after the splash
An error has occurred. See the log file /home/enrico/.eclipse/org.eclipse.platform_4.4.1_854604558_linux_gtk_x86_64/configuration/1531569265867.log.
When I try to run Nsight Eclipse Edition I get this following error after the splash and after the "select workspace" screen
An error has occurred. See the log file /home/enrico/cuda-workspace/.metadata/.log.
Maybe some missing dependencies?

How about posting the log files that it's telling you to read?

Quite huge files. I've created a couple of gists.
This is the file relative to nvvp https://gist.github.com/Aster89/da16fa4 … 165b9cf213.
This is the file relative to Nsight https://gist.github.com/Aster89/fa4e2f5 … 8551922900.
In both descriptions I've reported the path where each file is located.

I have this exact same problem. When opening the visual profiler I get `/home/tommy/.eclipse/org.eclipse.platform_4.4.1_854604558_linux_gtk_x86_64/configuration/1537481337455.log.`. When opening Nvidia Eclipse I get `/home/tommy/Development/cuda/.metadata/.log`. Both logs are similar to Enrico.

It is probably due to a mismatching Java version. For me nvvp (CUDA 10) works fine with jdk8, but I get similar errors if I try to launch it with other versions.
