in my home directory thera are a lot of file which are called .serverauth.xxx like .serverauth.5549,.serverauth.5317 etc.
what are their aims? if i delete them, it occurs any problem?

okay, from now on at fist i'll kill fluxbox with kill PID, and then i shutdown the computer with halt command so the .serverauth.xxx file deleted automaticly.thanks lot.

Hmm... Maybe you should file a bug, since the cookie should go into .Xauthority (and does if you use xinit IIRC).

Hmmm...I've been annoyed by them for a while now (months perhaps?), but always just assumed it was normal behavior. I knew they were X-related and I always just deleted them before running <code>startx</code>, but perhaps it would be a good thing for a bug report.
