gnome-keyring won't work on Plasma Wayland

Using the X session for Plasma, gnome-keyring applications work fine.

Using the Plasma Wayland session, applications that use gnome-keyring can't access the keyring. For example, seahorse will throw this:

(seahorse:4926): seahorse-WARNING **: 21:44:20.319: gkr-backend.vala:94: couldn't connect to secret service: Error calling StartServiceByName for org.freedesktop.secrets: Timeout was reached

The gnome-keyring-daemon is running in both cases.

This is with gnome-keyring 3.28.2 and plasma-desktop 5.13.4.
Any ideas?

Bump. Still seems to affect the current version of plasma and gnome-keyring.
