Startup applications

Hello,

I've installed imwheel and tried to autostart it at boot.

So I created this file:

/etc/systemd/system/imwheel.service

And put the following content in it:

[Unit]
Description=imwheel

[Service]
ExecStart=/usr/bin/imwheel

[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target

However, nothing happens when I do:

sudo systemctl start imwheel

Or:

sudo systemctl start imwheel.service

Did I do anything wrong?

Re: Startup applications

A systemd service isn't the best solution for this. Read...

especially the sections regarding autostarting with your WM/DE.

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan
