Can't install nvidia-bl on mid-2010 macbook pro

I had arch linux on this macbook earlier, and it worked great. The other day, the hard drive broke, so i replaced it with a new one and reinstalled. The back light control doesn't work (as expected, this happened last time too). Last time, I just installed nvidia-bl and blacklisted a couple kernel modules and then it worked as expected. So I went to do that again, and got this error: https://haste.gradyn.com/SVQFRw3ZtJ.php

Note: /usr/lib/modules/4.17.13-arch1-1-ARCH exists, but there is no "build" file in it

What is the output of `pacman -Q linux linux-headers`

It simply says "no display possible"

Where did you enter the command?  What is the output of the following

which pacman
type pacman
pacman
pacman --debug

My mistake, I entered it in a remote ssh session without noticing, my Appoligies, here's the output from a local bash shell

Partial_upgrades_are_unsupported.  Perform a full system upgrade then try installing nvidia-bl again.

Huh.. I didn't think that would help because this installation is only a couple days old, but it did, it works now, thank you!
