Minecraft runs slower with NVidia and faster with Intel graphics.

Why minecraft runs slower with NVidia GPU and faster with Intel graphics? With NVidia I get 20-40 fps and with Intel I get 55-60 (max by display) FPS.

Asus UX430UQ laptop with Nvidia GeForce MX150 GPU and Intel i5 7200U CPU. I use bumblebee with optirun to launch minecraft in order to use NVidia graphics and simply run minecraft and it automatically uses integrated graphics card.

Is vsync on, with both nvidia & intel?

"max by display" is rather ambiguous.

How can vsync influence such low framerate? I tried using with and without vsync - same result.

I would expect the framerate with vsync on to be slightly reduced, due to the overhead of having to synchronise with the vertical retrace.

60 FPS is not a limit, with vsync off, unless it is an unlikely coincidence.
