What are you using to control your network? Netctl? Networkmanager? wpa_supplicant service?
What are the output of ip addr and of iw phy ?

The link is up and has an address (infact two IP4 addresses assigned to it) if you ping archlinux.org what is the output?

The problem lies with the 5GHz SSID. I am unable to connect to it. With the normal SSID, I can normally ping. But with the other (5GHz) I can't even connect to it.
Thank you very much in advance.

So the outputs you posted in #3 are not from the broken configuration?
Please stop/disable network manager then follow Wireless_configuration#iw and post the results.

What is weird is that I am able to connect to to the "normal" SSID without any problems, but when I try to connect to the 5GHz alternative it doesn't even connect. The key is of type WPA2, so I'm not able to connect to it via iw.
[EDIT]
I would also like to add the fact that my internet connection is really slow (~15Mbps according to speedtest, when I know it can go up to ~200Mpbs)

So, I almost uninstalled and reinstalled every packages concerning the network and found something.
I don't use NetworkManager anymore. I only use wpa_supplicant and dhcpcd.
So I don't have any problems any more. The only thing is that sometimes I am still unable to connect to the 5GHz.
I don't have any real explanation to the problem, since the only type of error I have is :
CTRL-EVENT-SSID-TEMP-DISABLED id=0 ssid="<my ssid>" auth_failures=1 duration=n reason=CONN_FAILED
And when in this case I am still able to connect to the 2.4GHz without any problems.
Thank you very much in advance

I have the same card and it works really poorly. Random disconnects, often slowdowns. I tried many tricks, various drivers, firmware, module arguments, all for nothing. I'm considering buying another card, maybe something with Intel chip.
