So I've heard how Libreoffice 6.1 has had some changes that helps improve Qt/KDE integration, which I've been waiting for since KDE+Wayland doesn't seem to run flawlessly with GTK3. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem anything changed at all. I've even tried running the following:
SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=kde4 lowriter
which seems to look identical to:
SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk3 lowriter
There are no command line errors when doing this.
To my understanding, it defaults to gtk3, so something must be missing or malfunctioning to get proper Qt support, but I have no idea what it is - the Arch wiki doesn't suggest I need to install anything extra.
Any ideas on how to get Qt support to work?

Does https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=239686 help? I don't use KDE so I can't test it, but it sounds similar to what you are experiencing.

There's a new dependency in 6.1.0-2 that you missed:
kio: for KF5 KDE desktop integration
Also, it seems that you'd have to use SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk3_kde5 for now.

Unfortunately, no. I've already had kio installed.

There is no Qt5 theme support yet. There is only a gtk3_kde5 VCL that uses the gtk3 theme with the KDE file dialog
