Hi every body, I have just bought a new desktop pc, I have installed archlinux and at the end of the installation I give the command :
grub-install --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot/efi/ --bootloader-id=Arch --boot-directory=/boot/efi/ --debug
when I reboot I got the message that there is not partition to boot ... insert and press enter !!
i spend a lot of time proceeding in this way , during this try I take care to have mounted fat32 partition in /boot/efi and i verified that the grub (named arch) was created! but after reboot .. got the same message!
In order to works with the new installation of arch I had due installing linux mint in an empty partition to get the grub (I hate my self
)
may you give me some explanation about ehy ? what I wrong ??
EDIT :
I have change the topic now the problem is install grub-legacy

I have changed from UEFI to Legacy (BIOS setup).... bui sudo grub-install /dev/sda give me this error
sudo grub-install /dev/sda
Installing for i386-pc platform.
grub-install: warning: this GPT partition label contains no BIOS Boot Partition; embedding won't be possible.
grub-install: warning: Embedding is not possible. GRUB can only be installed in this setup by using blocklists. However, blocklists are UNRELIABLE and their use is discouraged..
grub-install: error: will not proceed with blocklists.
