I'm trying to get DA:O to run in Linux Steam via Proton, however I only get sound with the launcher.
I've installed xact, dsound and dmusic, but no luck. I also tried ffdshow. WMP9/10 won't install due to the prefix being 64b. I also tried changing openal32 to direct (needed for Mass Effect's sound).
I haven't seen any error messages, so I don't know what is wrong.
Edit: I've played the Witch Hunt DLC (or whatever its called) start to finish on Linux before, so I know the game works well. . .just not with Proton.
edit2: Once more, I'm an idiot. When I was reinstalling I caught that in the settings, "no sound" was ticked. WHY?! Why is that the default?
