[Solved] Unable to load images in browser

Hi,

W\hen searching for images in google and clicking on the images tab, google brings up an entire page of images as expected. But whenever I click on one nothing happens, i can open it in a new tab/window and it loads fine but it struggles to load it in the same window using JS. This is happening on chrome and firefox, and strangely it works fine with yahoo which looks like it loads images in the same way.

If you are using some adblocker or something like NoScript, try disabling them. Try to reproduce the issue in a clean profile. Also, is it only happening on Google Images?

Thanks going back to a clean profile seemed to solve it

It was a brand new installation of Arch and downloaded chrome via

pacman -S chromium

and was using a theme downloaded through google chrome. Went back to standard chrome theme and now using other themes it's working.
