Evolution 2.6 issues -- how to downgrade?

I'm running the latest evolution and evolution-exchange packages but there is a recorded but in evolution-exchange that makes evolution almost unusable for me.  On start up it scans the public folders of my Exchange server, which takes an extremely long time.

Simple actions like moving messages or anything take an extremely long time as well.  Its related to this bug.  The bug is here:

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=346728

Is there a way I can downgrade these two packages to something less the 2.6?  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks but it seems the issue goes back a fair way in the evolution of evolution-exchange.  It's a pig and very slow...
