OpenOffice plugins

How do I add fonts like Times New Roman and extras like a grammar check to OpenOffice 2.0?

For fonts, do this:

$ pacman -S ttf-ms-fonts

Re: OpenOffice plugins

Addons in OOo reside in /opt/openoffice/share/dict/ooo
Just put them there, and then edit dictionary.lst by hand to enable them.

Re: OpenOffice plugins

http://www.danielnaber.de/languagetool/ is a grammar checker for OOo, done in Java 5.

Just checked it out now, and it's really not that great (one of the recommendations for "I are 1337 haX0r" is "I ate 1337 haX0r"), but it looks like it's the only real solution as of now.  But, then again, the grammar checker in a certain "other" office suite sucks pretty bad, too... and it costs a lot more tongue
