[Solved]Libreoffice frameless on KDE Plasma

Hello I have latest plasma installed on archlinux. All apps work fine, except libreoffice that keeps starting WITHOUT window frame :

(Apologies if the link does not work, is not allowed here)

This is just what I see when I run libreoffice, behind that "frameless window" is my desktop, other apps, etc...

I cannot resize it without right clicking in task bar and choosing the appropriate menu item for instance. I wonder if this is a gtk related issue... the thing is other gtk apps such as Firefox work quite efficiently... So if anybody can help me. I already factory-resetted libreoffice, with no result.

Do you use X or wayland?
Do have installed the newest gtk3 version (3.24.1)?

I had the same problem with gtk3 3.22 and wayland.

Re: [Solved]Libreoffice frameless on KDE Plasma

You were right.

It worked when switching from wayland to Xorg. Meaning the window frame was back. In addition, upgrading to the quite recent 3.24.1 gtk3 package solved that old issue on wayland as well. So no need to stick to X. Thanks for your help, I should syu my OS more often. smile
