Request for a Texinfo patch

Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to make a bugfix request.
Compiling Cinelerra-GG I found this error:

that refers to a texinfo bug:

Has already been fixed.
How can I request the application of the patch? (I'm a noob)

http://svn.savannah.gnu.org/viewvc/texi … ision=8007 it is already fixed upstream as well.  Is this causing a build failure for you rather than a warning message?
You can request the patch using the bugtracker but arch may wait for the next upstream release unless that is after arch packages perl 5.32.

Alternativly you can use texinfo-svn from AUR.
