After i update virtualbox 5.2.18 , i can't use USB in my VM system.
Like USB disk.
So i check the version of extension pack.
The virtualbox is 5.2.18 r123745.
But i only can find 5.2.18 r124319.
Also i have try downgrade to 5.2.16.
But i don't know why my version is 5.2.16 r123745.
Also different on virtualbox.org.
Does anyone know how to fix it?

How did you install the extension pack? Did you use the virtualbox-ext-oracle from AUR?

I've installed Virtualbox v5.2.18 r123745
I donwloaded and installed the extension pack from
https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
Currently I've installed version 5.2.8r121009 of the extension pack. USB passthrough works.

i download the extension from Virtualbox.org.
Also i download it from AUR ,too.
I will try to download from virtualbox.org later.

I recommend matching the extension pack version to the Virtualbox version and also making sure on the guest you have the matching guest additions version installed.
There are a couple of ways to get the extension pack installed (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Vi … nsion_pack). In my case, I just download the latest version from the Virtualbox website (https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads), scroll to the "Extension Pack" section and download the vbox-extpack file. Then close Virtualbox and run (as root):
# VBoxManage extpack install --replace <full path to download>/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-5.2.XX.vbox-extpackLast edited by twelveeighty (2018-10-10 15:02:32)
