Force loading keyboard in init

I have a headless system with a cutom init that requires a password-entry on booting. However, every time I update it, I'm required to plug in a USB keyboard to allow the autodetect hook to discover it and add the necessary modules. Which I may not always remember. How can I force the addition of my keyboard drivers while maintaining the autodetect hook? I assume it's something simple in mkinitcpio.conf.

Read the tip in the keyboard hook description in https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mk … mmon_hooks.
