[REQUEST] Qsync

Hi everyone,

with Dropbox limiting its linux client to sync on ext4 filesystems only, I wanted to replace it with running something on my local qnap device.
While there was no linux support for Qsync for a while they finally came out with a linux client as well. Unfortunately qnap seems to be tied very close with ubuntu as they only offer ubuntu packages.
I'm not particular good in scripting so I was not able to migrate the deb package to a valid (and working) package running on arch nor did I manage to create a working PKGBUILD at all.

So if there is anyone here running a qnap device and is better skilled in writing PKGBUILDs, I would love to have a running version of Qsync in AUR to be able to use it as well.

They currently offer 2 versions, one 64bit and one 32bit:

64bit: https://download.qnap.com/Storage/Utili … 0.2030.deb

32bit: https://download.qnap.com/Storage/Utili … 0.2030.deb

Maybe somebody can add something to AUR for it.

Thanks!

BTW, there are other Qnap packages as well, such as Qfinder Pro or QVR Pro Client, which also could be added to the AUR as they are only Ubuntu versions according to Qnap. wink

Re: [REQUEST] Qsync

Any progress on the QVR Pro Client or any of the rest of this?  I have an interest in this as well.
