Help with ruby-gnome2 pkg from the AUR

Hi.

I'm new to archlinux (been using ubuntu for about 2 years) and have found the simplicity and transparency of pacman and abs refreshing. Im having trouble getting the ruby-gnome2 package in the community AUR to work properly, and was wondering if anyone else is using this.

Running pacman -S ruby-gnome2 goes off without a hitch, but when I include require 'gtk2' or require 'gnome2' in a ruby script or irb, I get the following error:

LoadError: /usr/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/i686-linux/pango.so: undefined symbol: rb_cCairo_Context - /usr/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/i686-linux/pango.so
        from /usr/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/i686-linux/pango.so
        from /usr/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/pango.rb:14
        from /usr/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/gtk2/base.rb:14
        from /usr/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/gtk2.rb:11
        from (irb):1

Any suggestions?

Thanks
