General: configuring two display

Hello all,

How do you setup (Arch) Linux to have two screens? Like on Windows, you have two display and you normally have a Fn+X to switch between 3 configuration: display 1 only, display 2 only and both.

Is there a HOWTO or something to do that?

Thanks,

The Wiki is usually helpful for things like this.  Look here for ATI and here for nVidia.  Also look here for xorg7 setup.

If you enter 'dual' in the Find field and press the Search button, the articles are listed.
