[SOLVED] Microphone not recognized as plugged in after reboot

Edit: Forgot to mark solved but I deleted the PulseAudio config folder in my home directory, rebooted the system (you can also restart PulseAudio), and it was fine.

Per the title, previously my microphone that is plugged into Mic In on the mobo sound input was always recognized as plugged in after reboots.

It seems an update or something else has caused it to only be recognized after starting the X session, unplugging and plugging the mic back in.

The only option under input devices (after a reboot/cold boot) in pavucontrol is "Monitor of Built-in Audio Analog Stereo". When the mic is plugged in, "Built-in Audio Analog Stereo" shows up as an option. However, the "Monitor" input shows in the bottom right audio slider section, and has no effect on changing the microphone volume.

See the following video for an example of the wrong device being selected in the slider:
Video Example

- ALSA through PulseAudio
local/alsa-lib 1.1.6-1
local/pulseaudio-alsa 2-4
local/pulseaudio 12.2-2

- Kernel 4.18.14-arch1-1-ARCH

If more information or pictures are needed, I can provide.
Thanks!
