Mailspring Icon not working in i3bar

Hello, I recently installed mailspring from aur, and got gnome-keyring working, etc. The only issue that remains is fixing the icon in the i3bar. Fortunately, I can disable the icon in the settings, but I would like to be able to see it in my bar.

Here's what it looks like if it's enabled:

It seems to copy the icon next to it but obviously something is wrong. Thanks for your time!
