I am in need of the oggCat program which is included in the oggvideotools package. I went to https://aur.archlinux.org to see if oggvideotools exists. It doesn't.
However, I was able to git clone ssh://aur@aur.archlinux.org/oggvideotools.git and retrieve it. Is this an orphan package? If so, why doesn't it show up as an orphan package? Thanks.

Deleted packages are removed from the AUR web but the actual build files are not deleted.

What you describe is typical for a deleted package.
I searched in aur-requests ML and only found an orphan request from march 2017, no deletion request.
Please post the PKGBUILD so we can verify it.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
(A works at time B) && (time C > time B ) ≠ (A works at time C)
