AMDGPU not shown in sensors

After executing `sudo sensors-detect --auto` I get the following output for `sensors`:

[jens1o@argon ~]$ sensors
iwlwifi-virtual-0
Adapter: Virtual device
temp1: +38.0°C

thinkpad-isa-0000
Adapter: ISA adapter
fan1: 0 RPM

acpitz-virtual-0
Adapter: Virtual device
temp1: +46.0°C (crit = +127.0°C)

amdgpu-pci-0200
Adapter: PCI adapter
vddgfx: N/A
temp1: N/A (crit = +94.0°C, hyst = -273.1°C)
power1: N/A (cap = 25.00 W)

coretemp-isa-0000
Adapter: ISA adapter
Package id 0: +46.0°C (high = +100.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
Core 0: +45.0°C (high = +100.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
Core 1: +45.0°C (high = +100.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
Core 2: +45.0°C (high = +100.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
Core 3: +46.0°C (high = +100.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)

pch_skylake-virtual-0
Adapter: Virtual device
temp1: +41.0°C

I wonder why it does not detect amdgpu's statistics, although some output is shown. I do not know where to dig into, a quick duckduckgo search didn't yield to any results.

I'm using an AMD RX 550. My system is up to date.

Re: AMDGPU not shown in sensors

I have a RX 550 too, I used sensors-detect without --auto, choosing "yes" on every GPU related sensor and it seems to work.

Re: AMDGPU not shown in sensors

Do you use any other driver? I just tried yes on every question.

Re: AMDGPU not shown in sensors

This is resolved. The driver apparently sends the GPU to sleep if there are no tasks for it, thus it does not report anything. When delegating some applications to it(through PRIME), it just works fine and reports everything.
