I recently installed arch and almost everything works. Installed the xf86-video-intel graphics driver. Sound is ok.
I'm using i3wm. Things that I have tried:
-Alll the extra keyboard keys solutions in the archlinux wiki.Including modprobe asus-nb-wmi
-Tried using xmodmap, generating the xmodmap default results in a correct file for some fn keys. (i.e. fn + f10 is keycode 121 and it is assigned like
keycode 121 = XF86AudioMute, so then I load the file with xmodmap xmodmap.conf but still doesn't work.
The only keys that work are the sleep (fn+f1) and the plane mode(fn+f2).
When running xev and pressing the fn + volume keys and mute volumes it shows the XF86 audio event but again, nothing happens.
I've been trying to fix this all day but nothing really successful.
