[SOLVED] samba 4.9.1 in [testing] for longer than 1 month

There was a bug fix for Time Machine support in this version. And it's been in [testing] for quite a while.
I checked bug report and saw nothing related.
And there is no discussion on arch-general and arch-dev-pub..

May I ask what's blocked?

[Edit] samba 4.9.2 is in repo.

No-one has signed it off.

Do you know if this is just lack of time of TUs/testers? Or is there a bug tracked somewhere that I overlooked?

Thanks

I don't use it. I suspect that no-one who does use it has signed it off or has the ability to do so.

samba does not really need a signoff as it is not in [core].  It is more likely a case of it being forgotten...

This update would also really help me too. Can anything be done to help move it forward?

For now you could locally build the package.
