Hello there, I'm dualbooting Arch Linux with my windows install, with the intent of making a soft transition into linux.
As I said, I entered the Display Settings, and I tried to enable the 2nd monitor, but I get no signal from it. Xrandr is detecting it properly and it thinks it is working properly.
I am using an R9 380, with xorg and KDE Plasma 5.
I also have a reddit thread, so if you want to take a look at it for any questions there, feel free to do so: https://www.reddit.com/r/archlinux/comm … de_plasma/

I really need the help, so thanks for helping!

Post a dmesg and a xorg.log when connecting the monitor, also just to rule it out, what's the behaviour with amdgpu.dc=0 on your kernel params?

Hello, thanks for the reply!
So, here is the dmesg output: https://pastebin.com/5CYkNjxH
Here is the xorg.0.log file: https://pastebin.com/cHkYZrCb (Sorry if it is too long - I just googled my way to that log!)
And I don't understand by "whats the behavior with amdgpu.dc=0 on my kernel params". Do you want me to give you a log or something for that?
Thanks a lot for answering!

Try adding amdgpu.dc=0 to your kernel parameters and check if you can still reproduce the issue. And maybe try ruling out something physical, did you try a different cable/port already?
