kwallet 5.51.0-1 ships with both a `/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.kde.kwalletd5.service` and `/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.kde.kwalletd.service` service files.
And while the first referes to `Exec=/usr/bin/kwalletd5` which exists and is part of the same package, the former referers to `Exec=/usr/bin/kwalletd` which is not part of that package, and to my knowledge, is not part of any package in the Arch repos.
Does anyone understand the reason for this?

I have:
$ pacman -Qo /usr/bin/kwalletd
/usr/bin/kwalletd is owned by kdebase-runtime 17.08.3-3
kdebase-runtime is no longer in the repos. Looks like I have some cleanup to do. But, it doesn't explain why the current kwallet package refers to an executable that's in a no longer supported package. I'd say it's a bug.

The kwallet package is provided by KDE, which has no knowledge of what is supported or not on Arch.

I've talked to KDE pople on irc (#kde-devel) we've concluded that it's a bug. I've opened an issue
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=400462

And the discussion here https://phabricator.kde.org/D16520
clearly states that the only reason the current org.kde.kwalletd.service would be used is if the user wants to migrate from kwallet4 to kwallet5
which is not the case in Arch, since KDE4 has been long gone, maybe it should be removed
