Issues with Plymouth

Hi all

I have been running Arch for a while, and got bored with seeing the same lines every time i start the pc. I learned of plymouth from reddit, and installed it.

However, there is no boot splash on reboot/resume. It seems to have changed something since the "Enter password for encrypted device crypto" has changed slightly, however there is no image, and not even a text-mode progress bar.

I installed plymouth through the AUR.
My bootloader entry is as follows:

options cryptdevice=UUID=754cbd84-f570-4e5f-ab59-322866575faa:crypto root=/dev/sfs/root rootfstype=ext4 rw resume=/dev/sfs/swap quiet loglevel=1 vga=current udev.log_priority=3

My mkinitcpio now looks like this:

# vim:set ft=sh
MODULES=(intel_agp i915)

# BINARIES
BINARIES=()

# FILES
FILES=()

# HOOKS
HOOKS=(base udev plymouth autodetect keyboard keymap modconf block plymouth-encrypt lvm2 filesystems fsck resume)

I have run mkinitcpio and tried restarting several times. Can anyone spot my error?

Re: Issues with Plymouth

Your bootloader line needs "splash" immediately after "quiet".  I'm not sure how the other options are going to affect that though, but you do need splash.
