Hi everyone,
Thinkpads usually work well with Linux and so I bought this sexy beast without much thought. I did face some problems, but they are alright now with the Suspend issue etc getting fixed with firmware issues. Currently, the problem I face is that I'm using 14" display I feel like I'm using a 12" display or something because the system font looks too small.
Outputs from system
xdpyinfo | grep -B2 resolution
screen #0:
dimensions: 1920x1080 pixels (508x286 millimeters)
resolution: 96x96 dots per inch

1. Please don't open threads with multiple issues: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Co … ow_to_post
2. Use code tags when pasting to the boards: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Co … s_and_code

Hi,
I didn't know about the "issue per post" rule. My screen resolution is correctly set - it is 1920x1080.

They are the dimensions; your resolution is set to the default (96x96) which may be correct, but I'm not willing to do the math which is why I gave you the link...

But how do I set it to a different value?
[kevin@ThinKevin ~]$ xrandr --dpi 166
[kevin@ThinKevin ~]$ xdpyinfo | grep -B2 resolution
screen #0:
dimensions: 1920x1080 pixels (508x286 millimeters)
resolution: 96x96 dots per inch

You use a conf file, and restart X.
