Slowness while running latest version of GNOME in ThinkPad E470

I'm noticing this slowness while using GNOME in Arch Linux. I have a ThinkPad E470 with no dedicated GPU and it runs very well in KDE, smooth animations, it's just perfect. But when running on Arch and using GNOME it seems slow. For example, when I try to change brightness using the keyboard, it seems very slow, takes some time to do it. And when if I'm watching a video while doing it, it freezes until the brightness alert appears for like 1-2 seconds, it's very annoying. I also noticed that the animations are slow as well, not sure why. Maybe you can help me with this problem? What am I doing wrong?

For those which it might be useful, here's a link to my "glxinfo" command output: https://pastebin.com/MG9WrBfW
