Hi, sorry if this has been discussed already, I searched here and google. I also read up on the arch wiki.
Everything I type is copied to clipboard. It doesn't seem to matter which application I am typing in. Even this post is in clipboard.
Have I been hacked?
I Syu multiple times a week.
If I am not hacked then this problem is just annoying.
I appreciate any help!

What desktop environment/clipboard manager are you using? How is it configured?

Have you been selecting/highlighting text using the mouse? Because that *will* copy contents into the Primary selection (clipboard).
Take a look here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/clipboard

Good point x33a. Yes, that does copy highlighted text to the clipboard. Also some links on webpages are copied, but only some. I will experiment a little more.

OK, that was it. It appears that this feature, copying highlighted text, is built into x11 and just one of those things I have to accept about linux. Handy sometimes, actually. I was so sure I had been hacked that I overlooked the simple explanation! Thanks x33a!
