Hi all,
I hope someone can help with an issue I am having after running a pacman update last night. I think the previous update I ran was a week or two ago so it should not be too long between updates.
Anyway, I ran an update last night and somewhere through the process the pacman update crashed and the screen threw up a lot of random errors and the only thing I could do was to hard reboot the machine by holding down the power switch.
On reboot I noticed in my linux boot process I saw a few red [Failed] messages but I was still able to start Gnome and continue with most of my work. However now I notice that the 'mysql-workbench' application is no longer able to start and if I try to update it using pacman I see the following:
rick@archlinux ~ sudo pacman -S mysql-workbench 1 ↵ 7442 11:47:27

I am guessing I am now in a corrupted system/pacman state. Can anyone help advise how to rectify the issues?
Thanks in advance
Rick

You'll have to re-install lots of stuff to correct this..
As root run pacman -Qkk 1>/dev/null and post the output.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

Please edit your first post to add [ code ] tag around terminal commands and output (see the BBCode link below the text field). Also post the code as-is, do not add doublespacing.
