Hello folks,
some time ago a thunderbird-gtk2 pkgbuild has gone missing from aur. I'm still maintaining for my own system a version of thunderbird-gtk2 52.9.1-1, as it was the last one before most older extensions became deprecated. And gtk2 just because I still haven't found a replacement for my favourite motif. Anyway, I managed to get it working again with most recent Archlinux. Would it be against some rules to upload this pkgbuild into AUR?

Given how many packages with older versions of <some-software> are in AUR, I'd expect it to be acceptable.
To make clear it's an older version you should probably call it thunderbird52 or thunderbird52-gtk2 .
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
(A works at time B) && (time C > time B ) ≠ (A works at time C)
