Hello,
I just installed arch with i3 window manager. I'm using alsa for my audio. I'm having the problem that my media keys that control the volume don't work (fn + f10, fn + f11, fn + f12). When I test the keys with xev I see the key gets recorded the first time I press it after rebooting my system (or closing the lid of my lip and opening it again) but the keyPress and KeyRelease event are called over and over again untill I press another key. From that point on it won't record my media keys untill I reboot the system or close the lid of my laptop.
I noticed that the keycode i get from xev isn't the same as the one i get from showkey, I don't know if this is normal or this might be the cause of the problem.
Does anybody have any idea how to fix this or what logs I can use to further investigate the problem?
