Using ABS to rebuild packages

Hey community!
I was trying to optimize my boot time by installing E4rat but I'm stuck at this step.
Quoting the wiki:
" In order to build it, you must first rebuild audit from the ABS with staticlibs option explicitly enabled. Simply installing the default audit package will result in a build error.
Audit needs these options to be enabled in the kernel configuration (CONFIG_AUDIT) together with support for auditing system calls (CONFIG_AUDITSYSCALL) also see Kernels/Arch Build System. Probably you will need audit=1 to add to your kernel parameters."

On trying to install abs arch doesn't recognize the package name.
"
$ sudo pacman -S abs
error: target not found: abs
"

I have not used ABS extensively and I'm not sure how to go about this. Couldn't find any wiki to help out either.
Can anyone provide the steps to go about this?

Re: Using ABS to rebuild packages

I see no mention of any package called abs in the documentation.

Re: Using ABS to rebuild packages

There is a wiki page, though.

Edit: crap, didn't see the link. Sorry.

Re: Using ABS to rebuild packages

There used to be an abs package, but it was deprecated ages ago. I find asp works even nicer than the old abs used to.

Re: Using ABS to rebuild packages

Okay so I did this:
1. Command: abs checkout audit
2. In the audit PKGBUILD added the option for staticlibs
3. Command: makepkg -si

But I get the following errors:

error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
/usr/lib/golang/src/pkg/redhat.com/audit/audit.go exists in both 'audit' and 'python2-audit'
/usr/lib/golang/src/pkg/redhat.com/audit/audit.go exists in both 'audit' and 'python-audit'
/usr/lib/golang/src/pkg/redhat.com/audit/audit.go exists in both 'python2-audit' and 'python-audit'
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.
==> WARNING: Failed to install built package(s).

Re: Using ABS to rebuild packages

Adding the staticlibs option did not add /usr/lib/golang/src/pkg/redhat.com/audit/audit.go to the audit package when I built it locally
