Yesterday i did "pacman -Syu" since it was a long time i did such for the last a lot needed updating. Including the kernel. However when i rebooted this morning i could not acces the laptop.
Lilo says its loading Arch then nothing, but a garbled 640*480 screen.
So either lilo is loading a wrong kernel or soemthing has changed inside the kernel. And instead if the vesafb driver it loads the savage driver.
Going to reboot from cd and do some chrooting to sort it out.
