Hi all,
I have mpv-build-git package installed and when I tried to upgrade today I got this:
sudo pacman -Syu
:: Synchronizing package databases...
core is up to date
extra is up to date
community is up to date
:: Starting full system upgrade...
resolving dependencies...
looking for conflicting packages...
:: shaderc and shaderc-git are in conflict. Remove shaderc-git? [y/N] y
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: removing shaderc-git breaks dependency 'shaderc-git' required by mpv-build-git
I attempted to remove mpv-build-git:
sudo pacman -R mpv-build-git
checking dependencies...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: qimgv-git: removing mpv-build-git breaks dependency 'mpv'
but that breaks another package.
What's the correct way to handle all these dependencies?
Thanks!

Please vote for all the AUR packages you're using. You can mass-vote for all of them by doing: "pacman -Qqm | xargs aurvote -v" (make sure to run "aurvote --configure" first)

If you select no for 'Remove shaderc-git' pacman should show the package requiring shaderc.

Too much AUR crap getting in the way. It's already been fixed in the update of shaderc-git.

It just showed the mpv package. Tring to remove mpv is another cycle dependency that fails.

Yep! Updating shaderc-git allowed the update to proceed.
Fixed! Thanks guys.
