Clean installed packages area.

I had install Archlinux many years ago.
After many updates, in /var/cache/pacman/pkg,
there are all old versions of each package.
For retrieve some disk space, how can I delete
the old versions without break dependenties ?
Thanks for help.

The first place to check before posting is the wiki. It usually already has the answer...
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pa … kage_cache

But just to clarify it's not an 'installed packages area' it's just a cache of package files that have previously been installed. You can just manually delete it all without it breaking anything.

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan
