Substance Designer (AUR package) - unresponsive UI unless run as root

Hey there,

so I installed Substance Designer on Arch using the package from AUR (which uses the official .rpm provided by Allegorithmic). After you run the program for the first time, you will have to supply a license (evaluation or license file) - this step requires root privileges. However, the UI is very unresponsive/unusable if you run Substance Designer as a normal user afterwards and the Library is always empty. When running the program as root/via sudo none of these problems are prevalent, but of course I wouldn't want to this all the time. Does anyone here have experiences with installing and running Substance Designer on (Arch) Linux? Am I doing something wrong during the install process, possibly messing up permissions?
