Hello all,
my problem is when using - e.g. evolution - in awesomewm, application dialogues or extra windows of the app (e.g. passphrase input window evolution) get handled as new windows. Sometimes these windows are completley
in the background (behind other Apps), and mostly every time the extra window is visible, when I try to select it I lose focus and disappears in the background, so have to minimize all other windows....
Even when I use the browser and input an url - the recommendations/history is shown left of the browser window.
I use dual monitor, but do not think this is a reason for that the issue.
Is there any way to config awesome in that way, that these app related
windows/dialogues/layers get somehow binded and stay on top of the corresponding app?
