Hi all,
When I play Rise of the Tomb Raider on Steam, I hear beeping form the PC speaker, indicating a high CPU temperature. Can you please help me investigate what could be the problem and how to solve this?
I first ran the game's Benchmark. Results (screenshot) here: https://imgur.com/a/mBZwrv8
I left the Diplay and Graphics settings as they were (they default to Medium). I play the game full-screen.
Please ask for info as required. Here are some things I can think of.

I set cpu settings to `performance`:

Your temps look fine from the output you pasted. Are you certain its a temp issue? Is your PSU large enough to provide power when gaming? Have you tried something like s-tui so that you can see exactly when the issue occurs? Also, I had a UPS that was not sufficient under a heavy gaming load and it would beep. Do you use a UPS?
Edit: Some boards have a lower alert on temps and the temp warning beep can be changed within BIOS to a specified warning temp

I have a UPS, but that one isn't beeping.
I will look into this s-tui.
The BIOS was set to warn at 70 degrees C, I moved it up to 80 decrees C. That should still be save. I just played for some 40 minutes without a single beep. Yay!

It might help to use a realtime kernel linux-rt in one of the unofficial repositories (coderkun-aur-audio)
Maybe you have an AMD thermal sensor controversy processor/motherboard?
I may have to CONSOLE you about your usage of ridiculously easy graphical interfaces...
Look ma, no mouse.
