today my system can't boot, it stops at "Mounting Root Filesystem", it takes forever to pass this step...
All i did to my system is reinstall my kernel26beyond, and then compile vmware, finally make a initramfs image.
Then most wired thing is that it once happend to get an I/O error when I try to remove one file. But it never happend then.
BTW, I can't boot from my old 2.6.16 kernel with the same problem. But the system hasn't met any problem during months.
Is there anyone had encounted the same problem?

Solved.
I rebuilt the super block and the whole tree of the root file system using reiserfsck.
