linux-firmware package gets heavier?

It looks like that the linux-firmware package has gotten heavier.

[user202729@archlinux ~]$ sudo pacman -S linux-firmware
[sudo] password for user202729:
resolving dependencies...
looking for conflicting packages...

Packages (1) linux-firmware-20181026.1cb4e51-1

Total Download Size:    73.69 MiB
Total Installed Size:  412.16 MiB
Net Upgrade Size:      114.56 MiB

:: Proceed with installation? [Y/n] n
[user202729@archlinux ~]$ pacman -Qu
linux-firmware 20180825.fea76a0-1 -> 20181026.1cb4e51-1

The "net upgrade size" field is a lot in comparison to the upgrades of other packages (for example, usually a

pacman -Syu

only has <10MiB net upgrade size)

Why is that? Can I keep my disk usage low?
