Re: Web brower png outline problem

I have this problem too! I don't know how to fix it.
It only occurs with chrome or chromium. Firefox works fine for me.

I would like to fix this too.

Re: Web brower png outline problem

In the Aggressor's examples, I'm not sure what we we are supposed to see.  I see no outline there.

Tavaresdu, your examples show a clear issue, but those are not pngs, but svgs.  The first step in working towards a solution would be to clarify what the problem is and when it is seen.

(edit: I stand corrected, I assumed that was the meetup logo on the website)

Another example:

It was showing like this:

But then I figured out disabling chrome's hardware acceleration resolve part of the problem.
The above and the facebook examples are gone, but the meetup example still happens.

The meetup logo example is from an e-mail, but the website svg is rendering fine.

disabling chrome's hardware acceleration resolve part of the problem

So it's the OpenGL implementation, you'll have to provide your xorg log and the output of "glxinfo" for a start.
Your desktop environment (and in particular the compositor) might play a role.
Also pay attention on whether this is maybe a wayland session (default for gnome)
