Hi,
I recently installed Arch Linux with Gnome. When transferring back the files I moved out earlier through Nautilus crashes without any errors on `journalctl -f` or any other location can be observed. This mostly happens when there are multiple copy or delete operations running. I saw another thread which might have been discussing the same issue, but according to that, the fix is already in my installed packages.
➜ sudo pacman -Qs | grep nautilus 14:40:26
local/libnautilus-extension 3.30.4-1
local/nautilus 3.30.4-1 (gnome)
local/nautilus-sendto 3.8.6+14+ge8a3604-1 (gnome-extra)➜ sudo journalctl -p 3 -xb -f
..
..
*no errors*Appreciate any help or resources that can be provided.

What do you believe "sudo journalctl -p 3 -xb -f" does?
Check the full journal, eg. "sudo journalctl -b" (if nautilus crashed on this boot) and see "man coredumpctl".
Also ensure nautilus really "crashed" (process aborted or segfaulted) and didn't "just" close a/all window/s - see the process list for running nautilus processes.

Hi @seth,
Sorry for the delay and thanks for your response! I have been trying to reproduce this behavior for the past week with no success. I suspect that this is happening when copying large files or a large number of files, but none of the repeated efforts reproduced the behavior.
I was not actually clear on what "sudo journalctl -p 3 -xb -f". I was in a hurry and copied and ran a command I suspected would give me the errors for the current boot. I will not be making that mistake again ![]()

No need to reproduce.
The journal most likely still has the log of the relevant boot, also, if it crashed, the coredumps are likely still there (unless you got really many coredumps during the last week)
