So, this looks like a Vulkan issue with GNOME. I don't know.
I've tried installing nvidia-vulkan package but it broke my Steam.
It also happens when somebody sends me a message from Steam overlay and it minimizes Artifact.
I have performance issues (full low settings) but on Windows I can play with everything at High settings.
It don't crash when playing using Windowed mode (still performance issues) but my bottom of my screen is lost because Gnome puts a horizontal bar with my opened programs there, just like Windows.
I really think is something with Vulkan.
There's a lot of these in my crashlog:
422(28.523434): Failed to allocate GPU memory for object.
421(28.465242): Attempting fallback GPU allocation in system memory.
I've filtered 'error' in the crashlog, maybe it helps.

If it's necessary I can paste my full crashlog and other things.
Please, help!
Thanks a lot!

Did you install all of the dependencies? nvidia-vulkan, nvidia-vulkan-utils and lib32-nvidia-vulkan-utils ?
Offline
Yeah, I had it all. But it broke Steam so I'm using nvidia for now.
My current system now:
pacman -Q | grep nvidia
lib32-nvidia-utils 415.18-1
nvidia 415.18-4
nvidia-settings 415.18-1
nvidia-utils 415.18-1
opencl-nvidia 415.18-1

I was looking at my journal and got this:

Is Vulkan indeed but "why"?
Thanks guys!

Well it's a beta driver, and if you check the AUR page there have apparently been a few with similar issues and the solution was to revert to an older version.
Or is this still with the repo drivers? Which card do you have?

When I was with nvidia-vulkan (beta) I've tried to revert it to a older version, like aur said, and got same error: Steam won't even open.
Right now with repo driver I can open everything but can't alt tab. It is a Nvidia 650 Ti.
Thanks a lot V1del!

That's quite a lowlevel card (barely not part of the general driver cutoff), it's likely that it simply isn't good enough to properly drive Vulkan resp. the way this game intends to utilize Vulkan. FWIW since you seem to have memory allocation issues, one thing you could attempt is minimizing that by using some lightweight WM instead of GNOME, however that just attempting to scrape by the resource limit and is quite unlikely to be a pleasant experience either, even if that was the cause.
