I had installed NVIDIA drivers for this card: NVIDIA Geforce 820M. Driver version: 390.87 (last supported)
I have rebooted the computer and i could only see a black screen with a cursor on the top left.
It is a notebook with this NVIDIA card (Geforce 820M) and with an intel integrated graphics.
I can swap between ttys and remove the drivers via cli and get back to my desktop but it doesnt solve my problem.
Display manager: GDM
Desktop environment: Gnome

That card is definitely still supported by the latest nvidia package, however either way you are likely to be interested in the following articles on how to make proper use of the card and a quirk you might have with GDM specifically:

Uncommented this: WaylandEnable=false
Created those desktop entries
Installed the latest drivers
Done everything what was written
Now i cant even get back to my desktop with uninstalling the drivers because the x server doesnt start anyhow.
