Driver for Nvidia 920M

Hi,

I have a problem in choosing the driver for the Nvidia 920M video card. I searched the CodeNames wiki and found that the video card belongs to NVE0 family (Kepler) and the model (codename) is NV108 (GK208).

For this model which driver should I use nvidia or nvidia-390xx?

Thank you!

Kepler is still within the range for nvidia. If your card is not on that list you can use the latest driver

Re: Driver for Nvidia 920M

Which is latest driver? Is nvidia?

Then it's ok installing with the command:

pacman -S nvidia nvidia-settings nvidia-utils

?

Do I still have to install other driver packages?

Thank you!

Re: Driver for Nvidia 920M

If this is an Optimus system that doesn't allow you to simply enable the nvidia card as the discrete primary renderer, you will also want to read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NVIDIA_Optimus
