[SOLVED] save ssd writes from makepkg

Hello everyone,
I have  two disks : ssd for / and the hdd for /home
I'm installing aur packages trough aurutils and set the build directory of makepkg on /tmp (as far i know is a tmpfs on default right?) now i have to make the "custom" repo in a folder wich resides in /home so no problem also here.
what i am unable to do is make sure that makepkg keeps building and storing output file sin a directory i choose when compiling in a container...
how to do so?
thanks in advance

--EDIT:i found the culprit  systemd-nspawn... there is a way to set permanently a differente path  to aurbuild container?

Re: [SOLVED] save ssd writes from makepkg

Please edit your post to specify that this is an aurutils issue as this is not a makepkg question.

I already linked you to the relevant man pages - not sure what remains unclear.

Re: [SOLVED] save ssd writes from makepkg

cant figure out how to change the nspawn container work  directory to /home without specify it with -D flag every time
after much more (things that i call) problems spawned so i decided not to use an aur helper so thanks for the effort but i'll close the thread

As a sidenote: Unless this is a 20€ ebay special ssd: You really don't have to worry about the amount of writes on it for any desktop (or most other) workload.
